This time it's Boris

Inside Westminister Abbey

National Gallery

Self portrait with audio guide

Westminister Abbey is on our tourist trail, tick. There where lots of people and lots of history. But all a bit higgledy pigily for me. No thought to design or feel of the space. Have a new idea for London build one of your futuristic buildings with lots of space and have hologram memorials to great British people. With reenactments of key points in their lives.
Crossing the road into Parliament Square and who rides by on a pushbike in a three piece pin striped suit? Yes, its Boris, the Mayor of London. The hair was a dead giveaway.
The rest of the day is spent immersed in the National Gallery. Great audio tour and leaflet to get the tourists around to enjoy the art. Very impressed with The Ambassadors by Hans Holebin and YoungWomen by Vermeer and quite a few more. Now I go overboard in the museum shop on postcards.
Today for the British food adventure Jane cooks Gammon, a type of cured pork. We follow with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cream on the decking out the back watching the twilight.
